"We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained. "I appreciated that our lovely room had an outdoor veranda style seating area directly on the parking lot (which was very quiet & remote across from a country field). This allowed me to drove within a foot of the room entrance which was perfect for my handicapped mother who joined me since she can barely walk. Nice, relaxing stay! "

"No coffee pot in the room."

"The air conditioning was not working in room 124, so after 2 nights we moved to 118. It did not work either; another hot night. The next morning we were offered a fan. No. So we moved to 116. By then the weather had cooled in any event. No compensation offered. At breakfast Sunday, the toaster was broken, on one side, so there was an line and the buffet had mostly low or empty hot food pans. I am a Bonvey member and was quite disappointed."

"Great customer service, my check in was very fast , the room was very nice , and very clean."

"Staff was wonderful, especially the woman making breakfast for everyone, but the hotel needs some repairs and TLC (not staff's fault). There was no remote control in the room and no way to get one, the in-room coffee maker didn't work, and the sheets and pillows smelled bad like they weren't clean. The lobby restroom was also really dirty. The prepaid breakfast was $17, but when I saw the bill before mentioning I'd paid for breakfast in advance, it was $5-6 less, which didn't seem right.
