We wanted to upgrade to a larger unit and pay the difference. The process with Expedia to make the change was difficult. The lady at the reception (when arriving in the evening) was asked 2 things by my mother 1. There was someone without a handicap permit parking in a handicap space and the receptionist said she could not take any action and did not even offer to call their unit to ask them to move their car. It was frustrating that my mother having a permit being able to use it and walk further distances. 2. The receptionist gave us contradictory information from the one when leaving. The one when leaving said we could pay the difference, while the one when arriving said we could not and would have to cancel or book a new room.
The food selection was better than most hotels I have been to. Unfortunately the water in the room smelled like sewage and the towels had hairs, some of them pubic which is disgusting. This experience was scary overall and don’t know if we will go back.
