"The blonde woman at the check-in was very warm and welcoming. We were early and our room was not ready, but she said that she would call or text when it was. When we got into our room, it was amazingly small. But the number one main reason why I gave it three stars is because of the bleach smell. "The only reason for four stars instead of five is because the corridors open to the outside, which means no air conditioning, and the elevators also had no air conditioning. "Historically my husband and I have been staying at this resort for YEARS. This was the last though - here is why: they kept charging my credit card fraudulent fees - I mean in excess. Expedia says I can’t mention prices - it was to the point my credit card company called me to alert theft concern. And 1 of the reasons Sonesta stated for these charges was “that you booked through a 3rd party app” But we prepaid in FULL And they kept changing the reasons or not providing any explanation...

"Front desk staff were very rude, unprofessional and lacked customer service experience. Wood near the door handle and lock were broken off badly. Food found on night stand shelf. Continental breakfast was very slack each morning of our stay. Spiders were present throughout the room's. Very large dogs were allowed and barked often."

"This is property is primarily an event and meeting facility. The staff, particularly the concierge were excellent. Unfortunately, there was no bellman for 9 AM check out . The only evening dining available is a small menu in the bar/lounge, with seating in a large open area used for event. Breakfast was available in a second floor restaurant that only seres breakfast.
