"Great location! We loved the neighborhood, the street, access to all kinds of wonderful restaurants, stores and transportation. The building was definitely a 200 year old building (lots of stairs), as it should be in that neighborhood. More attention could be paid to some of the minor items (sinks, kitchen appliances, bedside lamps, etc.). Nothing that a serious walk thru wouldn't take care of. "I was pleasantly surprised with my room, the beautiful bathroom. It was a lovely, very comfortable stay. A convenient walk to Jefferson outpatient center, was easy and safe. Then I returned for continental breakfast which was more than adequate. I loved the vegan cranberry cookie. The staff were super friendly and pleasant. This was a gem to be able to stay here, thank you, I hope to stay here again in the future. "

"Charming, retro, artsy hotel that has complimentary breakfast, offers wine and small bites early evening that are amazing. Not to mention the complimentary chicken soup around mid day. The efforts to provide exceptional customer service is to be admired. The staff are pleasant, accommodating and even make your bed in the morning! "This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. First, it is close to everything, and we were able to walk to many of the sights on our list. Second, the food in the area is plentiful and easily accessible. A few additional items: it doesn't have an elevator, so do be aware of that. We didn't mind even being on the top floor. "Room was clean and ready for our arrival. It was honestly the perfect budget trip to Philadelphia experience. Lots of really great food and coffee options within 2 blocks of the hotel. Great attractions nearby let it be the bridge the piers or the historic district itself. Hotel restaurant came to the rescue when the wife didn’t wanna walk to a restaurant. Honestly the hotel was kinda regular. But in a good way, nothing over zealous. "
