"Great 2 night stay, slight issue with Expedia which Tony sorted out for us swiftly, great service and a fantastic room, luxurious pillows and bedding/mattress so slept so well and didn’t hear any outside noise. The room has loads of technology if you want to use it. The aircon was a great extra and was lovely and quiet.The breakfast was really good, loads of choice and quality food. "The room was clean and had all the advertised amenities. Unfortunately when we stayed it was very warm and the windows only vented a little so there was no cross ventilation. The fan helped, but it was uncomfortable. The stairs were also very narrow up to the third floor and hard to navigate with large suitcases. "

"Lovely stay, the room was very clean and had coffee/tea facilities and a fridge. Water was hot and good pressure for a shower. Room was a little snug but it is fine for a night or two. 15 min walk to York and parking. Area seemed safe"

"Was disappointed to find that there was no available gym in the hotel, even though it is advertised as such. The sofa bed in the room was broken, as was the air-conditioning. Staff attempted to fix it but didn’t make a difference. When we visited, there was a pile of mattresses sitting in the lobby. Surely there’s a better way to manage this. We shared our complaints with staff at the hotel but they showed little interest so I hope management will take note "

"The hotel is quite walkable from York Station and near enough to the bridge across the river to get to all the other attractions. The only minus point was the pillows were too soft for me. Will definitely stay if I go to York again. "

"ヨーク・セント・ジョン大学の近くでとったのですが、市街地にも近く、すぐに城壁散歩も出来たのは良かったです。キッチンがあったので自炊をしたのですが、非常に広く使い勝手も良かったです。強いて言えば、包丁が全然切れなかったので、包丁研ぎでも置いてくれればいいのにと思いました。あと、オーブンが使えたのも良かったです。"

"Really easy to get to from the Station. Welcoming staff. Personally found the room really dark, particularly the bathroom area. I'm sure that's just a personal view and some people will like it. Also found the music too loud in the bar area so I couldn't concentrate when trying to work. "
