"The property is very conveniently located to allow great access to all the Cambridge sights. The room was lovely and well-appointed with teas, coffee and even hot chocolate. The property is beautiful and allows for great walks in their green space. The staff were definitely helpful though sometimes with a slightly detached attitude. "Beautiful hotel, clean and quiet considering it’s next to a train station. Food was superb, dinner was delicious despite the price and plenty of choice for breakfast. The only criticism I have would be the staff who were very polite and professional when spoken to however could have been more attentive. Had to ask for the bill 3 times after dinner and on check in at reception no information was given about hotel facilities, check out time, breakfast times etc. Great location can get train into...

"Convenient location halfway between the train station and the town centre. Really fantastic reception staff, lovely relaxing breakfast area overlooking the green, and very clean rooms including bathroom and kitchenette with new furnishings and fixtures. Downsides would be that the road-facing rooms are a little loud, and for a couple the bed is rather small. Neither were an issue for a single night stay but something to consider if staying for longer. Overall a positive experience though."

"We had an excellent 2 night stay. The staff were, on the whole, outstanding, friendly and very helpful. The bar staff were great, happy to prepare cocktails on request, attentive etc. The reception staff were helpful and arranged taxis etc My only negative was for a 2 night stay the tea, coffee, water & biscuits were not replenished after the first night- a little thing but would be good for 5 stars "

"Cheap and cheerful. Easy to find, nice location, easy check-in. Room was clean but toilet needed more attention as the seat wasn’t clean. The beds are like stone (very firm) so I didn’t sleep well and the air conditioning would not turn off whatever I tried so also had to listen to the noise all night. For the price, it was decent, but I wouldn’t use again simply because of the bed not being comfortable. "
