"Dès l’arrivée, une des deux chambres réservées avait une forte odeur de cigarette, ce que la réception a corrigé rapidement et sans problème. Toutefois, les deux chambres étaient situées dans la partie non-rénovée de l’hôtel qui ressemble plus à un vieux motel 2 étoiles qu’à un établissement 4 étoiles de la collection Ascend. Il n’y a aucune indication claire au moment de la réservation qu’il y a des chambres rénovées et non et le prix est le même ce qui est incompréhensible. Les chambres ont des salles de bains extrêmement vétustes avec des baignoires ayant des traces évidentes de moisissure au niveau des joints, des pommeaux de douche dépassés encrasses de calcaire sans ventilation. Le système de climatisation de la chambre est tout droit des années 80 et extrêmement bruyant. Une chambre avait un téléphone non fonctionnel l’autre le téléviseur brisé. Le tapis était ancien, les oreillers et matelas de piètre qualité. Le gym est lilliputien avec des équipements brisés. Déjeuner inclus correct. En bref, nous avons payé 250$ par chambre soit 600$ pour une nuit pour une expérience digne d’un motel 2 étoiles à 100$ la nuit, ce qui est très loin des attentes pour un hôtel « 4 étoiles » qui reçoit d’ailleurs des congrès accueillant des invités provenant de toute la province. Bien que le personnel ait été très courtois et serviable, cela n’est pas suffisant pour compenser le reste. Les chambres non rénovées devraient être moins chères que les rénovées."
