The Cubana Ballina

"Two night stay in King room. Description and photos on hotels.com need updating as room does not have separate dining table and 2 chairs. Room very clean. Noise transmission from next door. Squeaky bathroom door. Not enough space for 2 people to sit at table which has microwave and other stuff on it. Only one chair. No where to put things except on the floor. Bed comfortable. Fridge is for drinks and not cool enough for food ( apparently only cools to 20 deg below the ambient room temperature). Went back and forth to communal room kitchen fridgand freezer instead. Wifi fine."

"Crystalbrook was an absolute gem of an escape. Surrounded by beautiful nature and tranquil surroundings, it was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. The staff were exceptional throughout my stay, warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. A special mention to Hugh, whose charisma, kindness, and friendly nature made the experience even more memorable. He is an absolute sweetheart and a real asset to the team. The coffee was fabulous, the amenities were outstanding, and every detail seemed thoughtfully considered. From the moment I arrived, I felt relaxed and cared for. If I could have stayed forever, I would have. I can’t wait to return!"

"The Bowlo is a great place to stay, great location, close to the beach and the town centre. The room was clean and had everything we needed, the only issue we had was the overpowering smell of bleach when we opened the door on arrival, we needed to keep the door and windows opened for a few hours for the odour to fade down"
