"昔ながらの旅館をキレイに改装してあってオシャレだった。 朝晩の料理も美味しくいただきました。 Wi-Fiが部屋で繋がらないけど、層雲峡自体が大雪の麓だし、そういう環境なのかなーと、またそれもいいかなと思えました。 1つだけ残念だったのは、中国人観光客のお風呂場の使い方が雑で、脱衣所の床と洗面台がどう使ったらそうなるの？って言うほどベチャベチャになっており、まめな掃除がされてないのが辛かったです。"

"We just spent five weeks in Japan and are still talking about the food we ate here. It is nothing short of spectacular. We paid quadruple at other ryokans and this one had the best food, best location and the best onsens. It’s an older place with older, big onsens and for us that was the charm of it. The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable. The staff was incredibly kind. We went skiing one day and snowshoeing the next and ended up seeing a red fox each day. Really can’t recommend this...
