"Arrived late and left early, so really only slept there but had a very good nights sleep. We were welcomed, the room was lovely and clean, and quiet, and the bed very comfortable. It’s a shame we didn’t have a chance to experience the facilities, but perhaps next time when we have more time."

"Welcomed in nicely car parking very tight Food in restaurant outstanding - superb taste and good value Room excellent - better than last time I stayed -chose a better room ! On the negative then someone else parked selfishly in the carpark making it extremely precarious to get out - should have been stopped and was charged at dinner for something i didn't have - only noticed today "

"Lovely little guest house with the restaurant below it. The person at the checkout was welcoming and friendly, he brought my luggage up for me to my room which is really helpful because there's no lift, only stairs. Food was delicious (Asian-approved spiciness) and staff was nice. On the Sat evening when I was there , there had been a live band playing outside the restaurant area, they had a stage for live performances. Lovely atmosphere with good food and music. "Jo was really welcoming and made us feel right at home, we had local speciality for breakfast and it was top notch. Room was lovely and comfortable and clean, and we had a great sleep, were well rested for our days in alton towers. Highly recommend. "

"Accommodation was great, clean and newly refurbished with spacious room and good shared kitchen/laundry facilities. Shortage of forks/mugs however in kitchen. Good location near university with lots of nearby buses and train to centre. Accommodation could do better with recycling though and communal lights left on 24 hrs etc. HOWEVER I extended my stay and was NOT given the new door code so was forced to wait for more than 2 hours outside until the ‘emergency’ phone number picked up.
