A lovely peaceful evening
A warm and friendly welcome
And a great selection of breakfast including gluten free options.
Beautiful surroundings and quiet area. Nice room with great character and period features such as fireplace. Will stay here again as great value and nice location convenient for the city.
We loved our stay at Coundon Lodge. Very quiet and relaxing. A lovely help yourself breakfast and a comfortable room. Very friendly and welcoming hostess Would definitely stay again.
Lovely historic property that the owners are renovating, preserving it's traditional and historic features. Really comfortable bed, great choice for the self service continental breakfast

Interesting historic place. Friendly chatty welcome. Although continental breakfast only, excellent choice. Couple of pubs in at for dinner options. Nice and quiet.
A good selection left out for a continental breakfast. Room was comfortable and clean. Excellent grounds for walking the dogs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My stay was self check in as I had a late arrival but they were on hand to guide me.
Breakfast is self service with lots of options available. Fridge well stocked with milk, yoghurts, spreads etc. The room was a good size and the bed extremely comfortable. Shower and bathroom all in working order.
I've stayed here a few times and enjoy it. It's a welcoming place and I feel at home! The surroundings are quiet and I got a good night's sleep. Great breakfast selection, lovely building, ideal location for Coventry & Warwick University (by car).
A unique and quaint property. Owners have a long history with owning the beautiful lodge. Perfect for what we needed (1 might stop over). Would love to go back once fully renovated as a wedding venue. It has so much potential and I wish them all the best. Quirky fact - Charles Dickens stayed here back in his heyday!
A very nice and chilled weekend. A warm welcome from the host who gave me an in-depth tour of the lodge. A very comfortable bed. An extensive serve yourself continental breakfast and a simple check out. All at a pocket pleasing price.

What a fabulous place, and so good that the dog is allowed too.
The garden was beautiful and the view was equally as amazing.
Breakfast was very good though self service this works well.
Gorgeous building but it could do with some tlc.
Our room was good but had to walk down the hall to use the bathroom..
We would return here if we are in the area again. But would be nice to see some improvements to the rooms and interior of the building.
Staff very friendly.
Well what can i say absolutely fantastic hosts and lovely clean room in a lovely location, we found this lovely property as a last minute stay as we were visiting elderly relatives in george elliot hospital nuneaton , we were made to feel completely at home as soon as we stepped though the door such an amazing property and will be even better when the lovely owners have finished renovating would definitely visit again .
This was a good choice for an overnight stay at a very reasonable price. The room was cosy, comfortable and quiet. I had a great night's sleep. The self-service breakfast had everything you need (and more!). The only downside is the shared bathroom but for me the chance to stay in a quirky historic house makes up for it. I'm sure I'll be back again.
We were greeted on arrival, the lodge is presented well, beautiful grounds.
Unfortunately the lift wasn’t working so we had to carry everything up the stairs. There were good facilities. I’d say that having a room at the front of the house where people come and go, it would have been nice to have a net curtain as well as the drape curtains for a bit of privacy, considering there isn’t much space in the bathroom to get ready. The kitchen is well stocked with a good breakfast selection.
