"Check in was a little sketchy, I struggled to find the right door at first and keypad. And when I got into my room, I didn't realize the door would lock behind me when I left. I closed the door to go to the bathroom downstairs and luckily I had my phone on me with my code, but if I had locked my phone in my room without my code I would've been in a really bad spot since there is no receptionist or on-site staff. "This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well. I would recommend spring or summer stays, as the traditional construction means it will be quite cold in the winter, but it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji."
