Ryokans in Iwate District

"Amazing staff, food and hospitality "

"This is an older hotel/onsen that has been bought by a Japanese chain, and they have done a great job refurbishing parts of it while keeping the general feel of an older onsen. My friend and I greatly enjoyed our stay. We found the staff very kind and helpful, the food good, and the atmosphere in general very pleasant. Everything felt reasonably priced, and we had no problems using the onsen even with tattoos. We greatly enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anyone else looking for some peace in...

"The staff were incredibly accommodating (to be fair everyone in Morioka was exceptionally hospitable). The hotel was awesome, onsen was amazing and the food absolutely delicious (both dinner and breakfast). "

"We had a fabulous stay here myself and adult daughter. The hotel was set in à beautiful area with lots to see (although you really need a car to get around and make the most of the area). The staff were exceptional even to the extent of posting on my daughter’s headphones which she accidentally left behind. The food was fantastic both dinner and breakfast. The highlight was the onsen which had a wonderful view over the river. Cannot recommend this enough"

"with car parking and a minutes with the sight seeing"

"Spacious room, delicious and nutritious dinner and breakfast and great onsen."

"This property was incredible from the staff to the food! Very zen and relaxing, gorgeous surroundings ! Food was Michelin star quality."

"Wonderfully nice staff. Very clean and comfortable. Great Onsen. Great place to stop after a long day"

"Very traditional Japanese hotel with awesome hospitality. The room is clean and meals are very delicious. Although a little bit far away, but worthy to come for finding inner peace."

"Staff was super nice at this property. Service was top of the line. They even drove us up and down the road even though we could've walked. Food was delicious, elaborate, and made with superb craftsmanship. Room was so comfortable probably one of the most comfortable ryokans we have stayed at. Private open air bath was perfect with snowing outside!"

"スタッフが親切 部屋の鍵がかかりにくい。 部屋が少しにおう。換気？"
