"Casa Dona Édite was a wonderful stop on our trip. The guest house is simply wonderful with beautiful shared spaces, immaculate rooms and a simply breath taking location. Breakfast was delicious with home made items and Persimmon, grown on the property. The owners were warm and inviting, full of excellent recommendations including delicious tapas at a local cafe and a gorgeous walk through the village with their dog as a talented and attentive guide! "Fizemos a reserva e foi uma surpresa, pois trata-se de uma quinta, um antigo castelo com quartos enormes e confortáveis. A recepcionista muito simpática. Café da manha muito bom, onde serviam frutas colhidas do pé na hora. Um lugar com muitas árvores frutíferas que podíamos comer diretamente do pé. Amamos a estadia e com certeza voltaremos."

"Our arrival at the front door coincided with the manager walking out to switch on the central heating. No introductions were offered or made which left us feeling rather underwhelmed. Our room was exceptionally clean although a little tired and in need of some maintenance. The other house guests had booked through companies that specialise in walking tours and were provided with lunch packs each day. As we booked directly with the property, we were not aware of this service and it was not...

"Room with private external bathroom in this historic home that was like a living museum. Excellent value for money. Large, spacious with everything we needed for a good overnight stay. We feel privileged to have been able to stay here. We were also able to make use of a washing machine in the basement. Walking the Camino Torres this was an added advantage to our trip. We left very early the next morning, so could not make use of the well located cafe across the road for breakfast, but could use...
