Ocean was not visible from our room or the hotel. Pool was pretty but was quite chilly! Hotel staff was friendly and helpful with arranging transportation when needed. Breakfast had a very wide variety.
It was great pleasure to have this nice accommodation. I loved room n swimming pool. I couldn't believe the price. I wish to come here frequently and strongly recommend it.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The staff response was good.
but The breakfast buffet was not very good. The bath towels were torn and sewn.
I stayed there for 3 nights and the stuffs are lovely and dedicated to their guests, first room I stayed had a little food crumbles probably from previous guest as I knew the receptionist explained to me that cleaning was delayed due to previous guest they needed to rush to clean the room for me and it wasn’t many so it didn’t bother me.
Thank you for warm welcoming and looking after me while I was there:)
Will definitely recommend to my friends and families if they visit Da Nang.
Our family had a great stay at the hotel. There were many things, big and small, that made it such an enjoyable stay for us.
. One of the main things that drew us to the hotel like everyone else was the pool. It definitely did not disappointed. It is as picturesque as the professional photo. The clear water, the well thought-out layout of the courtyard, and the balcony all added to a feeling of being in an oasis hideaway in the middle of a bustling beach town.
. The room was spacious with small and thoughtful design that made staying at the hotel for 1.5 weeks very comfortable.
. The breakfast buffet was something we looked forward to every morning. The menu had lots of variety and it changed daily, making it an exciting thing for our two young girls. They are still talking about it now after we returned from vacation
. The staff was a big plus here. We learned that this is a tightly-run family business and they make sure nothing is amiss here. From the groundkeepers to the front desks, kitchen staffs, and housekeeper, everyone was nice, helpful, and attentive.
. There is a golden egg that we learned on our last day at the hotel. All of the arts around the hotel were painted by the patriarch of the family. He is a very famous painter of Vietnam who had captured many different eras of a beautiful country through his artistic interpretation. The hotel is his art exhibit. Really cool!
We look forward to staying at Salmalia again and it's great to support local business.
Good location, very friendly and helpful staff. Room nice, bed comfortable. The only slight downside was the gym, but there is one 1km away and only 3 dollars to use.
The staff is very kind.
Above all, the rice noodles served for breakfast are very delicious. The taste and quality are better than the famous rice noodle restaurant in downtown Da Nang.
Salmaria Hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable. I especially recommend it for couples or family trips.
If I come to Da Nang again, I will use this hotel the same way.
Definitely value for money. Clean, neat and friendly staff. Housekeeping is excellent as well as the front desk and restaurant staff who always greet and make you feel at home. Hotel offers free airport pick up which is great. Hidden behind tall hotels but just a 4 minute walk to the beach, come out the hotel, turn right and you in the middle of restaurants and night life. Special mention to Jena and the chef at the restaurants for make our 6 night stay pleasant.
The property is well mentained with friendly helpful staff with the chef cooking eggs at breakfast cooking the best omletes(with cheese) The reception staff were on hand to help and resolve any problems. On checking out transport was late but Jenna took it on herself to contact the company and sort it out for us which was very much appreciated
A hidden or not so hidden gem (At least was for me). Have been staying at many hotels in Vietnam and this one takes the crown ad the best one, and if you take the price in concideration also then it is even more amazing. Atmosphere inside is like a 2nd home with amazing staff and a beautiful garden. We paid a small upgrade to have the pool access room, so my 5 year old son could just run to the pool in the morning and evening, priceless. There are so many things to say positive and not a single negative thing to put a finger on.. Maybe only the fact that we had to leave. Very good job to both owners and management, we will be back 100% sure.
Service was very heartwarming and thoughtful - staff were all very attentive to my needs. Gratitude to the chef for preparing vegetarian food knowing that I was vegetarian. Staff knew I spent a lot of time in the room and brought me a vase of freshly picked flowers to brighten up the space. Only major downside is noise level - I don’t mind the sounds of children playing at the pool, but even in the middle of the night there were a lot of construction noise and people above dragging furniture and hammering stuff. Also would have liked a stronger shower head. But all in all a great stay. Staff really takes pride in their work in hospitality. Thank you.
Salmalia's employees showed us the utmost respect and hospitality when we first arrived at the front door. The older gentleman helped move our luggage inside the reception area and brought out refreshing citrusy tea to quench our thirst. The ladies at the front desk were helpful, friendly, and joyful which made our initial impression of the hotel a very positive and memorable one. I had a discrepancy with one of the rooms that I book and they were able to resolved amicably and upgraded one of the rooms at no extra charge. The rooms were nice, clean, and spacious.
The spa services were relaxing and definitely eased the soreness and tiredness of my body. The breakfast buffet was varied enough day-by-day that I didn't mind coming there every morning. The workers were attentive, accommodating, and consistently checking in on us. I was appreciative to their friendliness and openness.
We had a wonderful view of the pool and it looks spectacular at night. An improvement that I would recommend the hotel is to work on sound proofing their rooms. For the days I stayed, there were multiple families with children at the hotel. I could hear their screaming and boisterous tirades despite the doors closed.
All in all, a great hotel tucked away from the main downtown area but close to the smooth, sandy beach of My Khe.
