"Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better."

"We stayed in the General George Meade room which was located in the Main House- a key location next to the pantry (espresso & Keurig coffee, teas, treats...) and a half bath near pantry (key if you need an extra bathroom!) and lobby and kitchen. "If you are into history, rustic, and good old-fashioned, antique bedrooms, and essence this is the perfect spot for you. The staff is more than kind and made you feel right at home. The room was super clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was dynamite more than enough food to get you through your entire morning and maybe even through lunch! I highly recommend this place. It’s quiet, it’s clean, and it’s very inviting."
