"This property inside the walled city is very unique and centrally located. Parking was very limited, though we secured a spot on the second day/night of our 2-night stay. It's on a one-way road that, if you miss it, you have to drive around numerous roundabouts to get back - about 10 minutes. We were in a lower room with windows that looked on the busy sidewalk and road. Road noise and rambunctious students made it pretty loud. The bedroom/bathroom area was down a number of wooden stairs and it was not well lit. There was a loft area above with one large chair and one light. The staircase leading up had no rails on either side. Breakfast near the lobby was really nice and we enjoyed meeting other travelers. They had a small bar for wine, cocktails and other beverages. Casual seating was ample, but uncomfortable, though we spent time reading together for an hour or so."

"We had a fabulous stay at CiCioso in Évora. The property is beautiful, full of character, and was a wonderful base for exploring the historic center on foot. Our accommodations were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with a great balance between the building’s historic personality and modern comforts. The location was excellent—we could easily wander out the door and explore Évora’s cathedral, Roman Temple, Chapel of Bones, gardens, aqueduct, restaurants, and winding streets without needing transportation. What really stood out was how much the property added to the experience of being in Évora. It didn’t feel like simply having a place to sleep; it felt like part of the destination itself. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended."

"Modern facilities marred by lack of maintenance. Our room showed signs of a flooding, with floor planks loose and peeling. The carpeting in the hallway was in even worse shape. Ask for a room facing the pool. The alternative is overlooking an abandoned building. Staff were friendly and helpful. The optional breakfast was about average. There aren’t many nearby options"

"This hotel is a gem. The rooms are huge! Beds are comfy! They have an onsite infinity pool that provides a great view of the city with wonderful places to sit all over. There is a lovely sauna that is perfect after a day of walking around the historic city. All of the must sees are within a 2-10 minute walk. Close enough to all of the attractions but far enough from the university which gets hopping when the sun goes down. The breakfast was very good. My only regret - staying only one night."

"Clean and tidy cosy little flat. We had the flat 001, which as is own entrance at number 54, separate from the 52. The outside swimming pool looked lovely, unfortunately wasn't hot enough to enjoy it. Everything in the flat was perfect, even a washing/ drying machine. Which with little ones is a plus.. The only downside would be the noise of the guests of the other rooms. And the cars and people outside. You can ear them very well, like they are next to you... But that wasn't a reason to reduce my review. Check in / out was fast and easy. It's a great location, walking distance to everywhere around Evora. "
