Top Crook of Devon Hotel Reviews

Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh Airport by IHG

8/10 Good

"Staff helpful especially Gillian, she turned on our electric bathroom radiator when I couldn’t even find the switch which is part of the chrome radiator itself by the way. ? Impossible to find and lights up with little orange lights when turning on and off. Gillian also works on reception. Peppin was helpful he checked us in. We only stayed one night in a runway facing room great view if you love planes,!? Only minor criticism was the bathroom sink was SO small not getting water on the floor was impossible, and filling the kettle involved using a glass because the kettle wouldn’t fit under the tap. but shower was huge and easy to use, so made up for sink a bit 😊"

Premier Inn Edinburgh Airport - M9 Jct1

10/10 Excellent

"This is a very nice hotel for a pre or post flight stay. Only 2 miles from the airport. Very clean, good breakfast, staff is friendly and helpful. The only down side is no airport shuttle, but there is a dedicated phone in the lobby to arrange a taxi which arrived a bit early even! I felt the taxi ride was high for the distance. But that is not the problem of the hotel. There might be a better solution such as uber."

The Stirling Highland Hotel

8/10 Good

"The location is perfect. The hotel is an old building but has had money spent on it. We paid for half board, which worked out very good value. We got £35 towards our evening meal and a very good breakfast. My gripe with the hotel is everything is extra, parking £10 a day (we pre-booked through the company running it and it was cheaper.) The swimming pool is extra, breakfast not included in some prices too. However the food was excellent and it I would return. Staff excellent but like a lot of hotels now service for our excellent evening meal was slow."
