"Pub and accommodation was lovely. Really classy yet quirky. Great staff, spacious rooms and stunning dinner. But (randomly) I would go back purely to have their bacon breakfast roll again - hands down the best ever! And mine was gluten free. Simple things but epic! "

"Recently refurbished so that was nice . We thought all the staff were really friendly and professional to both humans and dogs . It was nice that the team at the hotel all pulled together , conversed with the guests and looked good in their uniforms. We have no qualms about saying Book ! you will love it - its a very welcoming place in the middle of the forest.

"Our 2-night stay at the Star Hotel was very comfortable. The staff was hospitable and friendly. Our room was clean and spacious. We slept well and enjoyed a nice breakfast each morning and had a relaxing time in the bar each night. The desk staff and the lady bartender was very nice. It was a real treat. "
