"As you know I book our travels through Expedia regularly. This was the worst, and the only dreadful experience we have ever had. Check in at the “check in centre” was dreadful, slow and not as expected. We expected to be staying close to the sea, as we had when we visited last year, but our accommodation was several miles inland and very very disappointing. "I was in Carvoeiro for one night and I enjoyed my stay at O Castelo Guest House. The guest house was super clean, nice size bedroom with everything you would need, every staff I met was super friendly and ready to assist me with anything I needed. The location was also great, balcony overlooked the beach and a few minutes walk to Carvoeiro beach and the boardwalk leading to Algar Seco. O Castello is the only place I’m staying if I visit again and would 100% recommend. "

"The room and bathroom were excellent and the brkfst was perfect. The air/heat was working well. Everyone was very helpful and ready to offer more. The last morning we were there they laid out an early breakfast even though I think we were the only ones there and were leaving before breakfast would normally have begun. My husband and I would definitely recommend Villa Rio Guest House to friends. "
