Unique and beautifully appointed hotel. We loved our stay here. The spa is lovely and the food was fabulous. The staff are wonderful especially Allesandro, Federico, Orlando, Matteo and all the lovely staff at breakfast. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and we had an amazing time here. We stayed for 10 nights so got to know Cortona and the surrounding area very well.

We had an amazing stay at Monastero di Cortona Hotel & Spa. The property is absolutely beautiful, but what really stood out was the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. A special thank you to the team for helping arrange our truffle lunch and wine tour, both were wonderful experiences and made our time in Tuscany even more memorable. The breakfast was top notch, the spa was excellent, and the overall level of service was outstanding. Alessandro was excellent, but there were so many wonderful staff members who contributed to making our stay so special.

This is truly one of my favorite hotels I. The staff is extremely professional and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and beautifully situated in the center of Cortona. The restaurant is absolutely amazing!! I really had no interest in leaving to hotel but force myself to walk into the center. This was our second visit and we look forward to returning again in the near future!!

The staff was so friendly from the moment we arrived. They guided us into the parking lot, assisted in booking dinner reservations and spa reservations. They were also extremely friendly throughout our stay, whether the bar, breakfast, dinner, and the cleaning staff. They also brought our luggage to our room and helped us at checkout. Overall an amazing experience. To note the breakfast was exceptional not a buffet. It was a sit down breakfast à la carte, coffee, fresh juices, omelettes made to order, and a 3 tier of pastries, fruits, and local meats and cheeses everyday. We loved our stay!! Also the room was very clean, they mopped the room as well!

Fantastic hotel, great staff, and great location One draw back was being charged for the hotel spa (Turkish bath, Sauna, Steam Room) it was €30 per person which isn’t terrible. But really should just be included with the amenities of the hotel Other than that it’s a great stay! Recommendation: Email about parking prior to arriving or don’t rent a car. Limited parking and saying the streets are narrow is an understatement

The room was very hot, with no fan or A/C, which is turned off this time of year. We asked for a fan, which didn't work and powered through the heat on the first night. Hair dryer didn't work in the room and it took a few calls to get a replacement. They forgot the welcome drink on arrival. I expect more for the price. Meals were fabulous and the property is beautiful. Pool was too cold to use even though it was high 70s outside. Access to the spa and sauna costs extra. Nice place, but not the level of experience and attention to detail for the price. I'll stay somewhere else on my next visit.

The Hotel Staff, Property and Amenities are a true 5 Star Experience. Our room was magnificent. The over 15 foot vaulted ceilings and period furnishings in a fully renovated 15th Century Monastery made for an enchanting and romantic stay. The breakfast was à la carte and delicious. The fine dining experience was superb. The entire staff from the manager, Flavia to the front desk Eleanore, Mateo, Anna and the 2 Federico’s to the Restaurant staff, Alessandro and Orlando and the bartender staff Julio and Claudio were all excellent. And the other staff, unfortunately I cannot recall all of there names. They were all so gracious, courteous and professional. I would highly recommend this Hotel.

We had a marvelous stay with unbelievable staff experiences. They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. One of your staff made dinner reservations for us in a very popular restaurant that was the highlight of our time in Cortona. And we very much enjoyed relaxing by the pool. Again the staff was always available for drinks and snacks. Would stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at the monastero di Cortona. The property is absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained. The pool area is lovely and the views are unbelievable. The staff was super helpful and attentive- gave us recommendations for restaurants (and made reservations for us) and helped us with what to see/ do in Cortona and the surrounding area. The room was perfect and although we didn’t use the spa it looked really nice. I very much enjoyed the breakfast each morning as well. I would 100% stay here again and would recommend it to anyone going to Cortona.

There are really no words for how amazing this resort truly is. From the second we walked through the doors, it exceeded five-star service. From the staff, to the room, to the resort amenities, to the restaurants, they don’t miss a single detail. Our stay has been so amazing that we extended our three night stay for four additional nights. The town is pure perfection, and it’s centrally located enough to allow us the opportunity to visit amazing surrounding cities, and then return to the resort. The communication is second to none… they connect instantly with you through WhatsApp, and any needs or requests are handled virtually instantly. I’ve traveled to many cities, and I’ve stayed in countless five-star resorts and hotels, but this resort stands out from the rest!!!!
