"The Hotel was very nice, historic, and has a lot of nice qualities. However, what I was REALLY impressed with was the front desk staff. I worked with several different people over the stay (nothing to do with the hotel stay) and each person was personable, professional, and eager to help. Great experience. The room was just ok. I have stayed at other "historic" properties (just one example: Waldorf-Astoria) and this room good, but just not great. For the price, I might find another...

"There for 4 nights big room with very very comfortable beds, we were in the house across the road from the main building and therefore had use of kitchen and sitting room. Would stay there again"

"We took the bus to Cork and bus station is a 10 minute easy walk to hotel. Hotel is centrally located and an easy walk to town. Lots of restaurants close by but you need reservations for sure. Hotel is well looked after. Staff were great, rooms clean and breakfast was good. Restaurants in hotel are really nice. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We walked from the airport to the hotel and the hotel parking lot, which we had to cross, had no lights at all. It was after 11 p.m and very dark thus making it a hard walk It was also hard to operate the doors with all my luggage and no one from reception offered any help. . The room service pizza was greasy and unsatisfying. Room excellent. "
