Today it has installed in it the Living Museum of al-Ándalus that shows the coexistence of Christian, Muslim and Jewish cultures from the 9th to the 13th century. It is part of the Historic Center of Cordoba which is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

2,100 year old bridge, now a pedestrian walkway. The bridge was heavily reconstructed in the 10th century by the Moors, and their handiwork is largely what we see today. Standing guard over the bridge is the 12th Calahorra Tower.
By June Córdoba is unbearably hot in the daytime but the city comes alive at night. If you cross the puente Romano you'll get a superb view of the cathedral and it's all lit up at night
