"Grey St Hotel is in a fantastic location for exploring Newcastle. Right in the heart of the action, but still quiet in the room at night. We arrived by train and the station is only a short walk away. The reception staff were friendly and helpful at all times, as were the housekeeping staff. Our room was spotlessly clean, had lovely high ceilings and sleek decor. The hotel was also incredible value. I’d love to go back and try the spa facilities :-)"

"Matfen Hall really is outstanding, my stay was faultless. All staff were so warm, welcoming and helpful- I was greeted upon arrival with a welcome drink and my bags were taken up to my room whilst I checked in and relaxed in the Great Hall.
