No one was there to do check in at . I called the direct hotel phone number to see if anybody working would hear it and come answer. Nope. At least 20 minutes before she showed up. Meanwhile about 8 people accumulated in the lobby. Some to check in, some to request a refund bc the room was so gross they refused to stay. Your employee on 11/21 is TRUE PROFESSIONAL. She deserves a raise. Our room was impeccably clean. It smelled super clean. However, the hallway is disgusting and has mold. It's visible and smells foul. Carpets need replacing, 5 years ago. The floor by the vending/ice machine was bus-station dirty. The breakfast is pretty good. They order some of the hot breakfast elsewhere, they have a little sign that says so. I don't understand why they don't remodel this place. The LOCATION is the redeeming factor of this hotel. Just like the lobby got remodeled, spend on remodeling the rest of the hotel. Have a manager available. Don't leave ONE employee to deal with the night shift and on top of that not address things during the day that she can't solve. Either clean the rooms properly or don't count on that room for the night. I want to see this hotel be successful. Coral Springs is a wonderful city and staying here has many perks like being in a super safe area, but still only be 15 mins from the beach, Sawgrass Mills, and all the major roads to Miami and Ft Laud. I use this hotel 3x a year for family visits.
