"It’s raining and storming in Dunmore East so we decided to duck into Strand Inn for shelter. When we saw the fresh fish specials of the day, we decided to stay for dinner, too. We fell in love with the staff and decided we needed to stay the night!! It was the perfect decision. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning before we headed on our way. Highly recommended!!!"

"Down for a birthday party being hosted in the hotel and unfortunately I wasn’t there long enough to take advantage of the pool, but the room was very nice, extremely comfortable bed, great strong shower, tea and coffee facilities etc and the veggie cooked breakfast was delicious. "

"We had an excellent room. The bespart was the super comfy beds, clean and fresh bedding, and newly renovated rooms. Absolutely wonderful stay. The restaurant and pub were excellent as well. "We loved Waterford and the hotel. We almost couldn't fly home from Dublin and we were going to try to go back to Waterford and stay at Dooleys Hotel for as long as we were grounded! Unfortunately, we were able to fly out. Highly recommend!!"
