This stay five was out of this world. This is a historic castle that has amazing public areas and the private rooms are warm and inviting. Staff was helpful and hands off unless you needed assistance, the main dining room had French service and breakfast in the solarium was a great start to our day. They even had had a visit from Santa and an albino wallabe.

The hotel is amazing and beautiful. Just like the pictures. The staff is excellent and attentive. The dining experience was wonderful. Golf on property is a bit lacking with dirty carts, not enough rental clubs but the staff was nice and the course was lovely.

The waterford castle did not disappoint! Beautiful property, ferry ride over to the private island and a friendly staff ready to tell you all about the wallabies and deer that share the island! The castle is gorgeous and the food is fine dining at its best! It is a true old castle so expect authenticity and a minor reduction in modern day amenities, but also know it is absolutely worth it! This stay made our trip highly memorable!

Beautiful castle and lovely stay! The grounds are gorgeous, the staff welcoming. We had an amazing dinner and breakfast. Comfy bed, very nice amenities. I only wish we couldve stayed longer

Very beautiful castle hotel and property. It's on its own island and a free ferry brings you across the small river. Lovely. Food is fantastic. Extensive Breakfast is included (except my cappuccino). Staff is great. Romantic. There are large, modern "cottages" (like townhouses) for families or bigger groups.

Amazing time here! I highly suggest a reservation for dinner in the Munster room. Big shout out to Dylan and David who were inside bar area. They were so kind and helpful. The grounds are absolutely amazing. Definitely a 10/10 experience.

It is a lovely place to stay. Being on the island takes you away from the hustle and bustle. We took this as a “pause” from our tour of Ireland. David in the bar and Antonio in the restaurant go out of there way to make sure you enjoy your stay. Feel like an Earl!
