"Terrible stay. Dirty rooms, Breakfast is non-existent and all continental only. A lot of maintenance workers stay here, so you can imagine the standard. Depressing side of the road lodge. It is not a hotel really, more like a youth hostel!"

"Good news - Free parking for guests. Bad news - No restaurant, no bar, some tea and coffee in room, no phone, hairdryer or safe in room. Shower tray cracked, cracks in wall plaster and a tv with a 2 pin plug to insert into a 3 pin socket we thought was dangerous Extremely basic and a lot run down. Stayed before our flight from Luton basic accommodation at a cheap price."

"It was an ok stay. Very basic and a bit tired looking but clean enough if you don’t inspect the stained mattress and marks on the walls. Plus points helpful staff and free parking and next to a service station with an express M&S, Macdonalds, Greggs etc. plenty of electric charging on site."

"Dated room, smelt of animals, wasn’t particularly great. Asked for a room change and somehow the alternative that was offered was worse than the one we stayed in."

"Very noisy because of the pub below so until 23:00 loud then from 05:00 in the morning music starts again and people singing so if you want to party I guess it’s the right place but if you want to rest get yourself a proper hotel room, me personally I wouldn’t go back "

"Hotel is not exactly at the airport (but the closest option). Walking around 10-15min. Has shuttle but infrequent."

"Everything was great. The only issue we had was that someone upstairs above us has a shower at 3.45am and woke us up with the sound of the shower. I expect that is unusual though."

"Bed was amazing got a great nights sleep. Quiet grounds peaceful a lovely relaxing weekend stay. Didn’t try the food as I was visiting friends in the area. I would stay here again if I was in the area "

"Nice countryside hotel with cows as neighbours. I had a window view room all i saw was green and cows. Nuce comfortable beds. I will stay again. Plenty parking"

"Room is fine and you pay for what you get, but they had no fans during the heatwave and my dinner at an extra cost was stone cold. This let it down."

"Room clean and set up as asked, room had a couple of issues (identified to staff who were helpful) location excellent for access to A14, surrounding location noisy and smelly as next to service area. Room warm so needed windows open which wasn’t that pleasant. Breakfast was busy but found a table, food ok, not as good as other brands, many items out when we had breakfast but staff working hard to restock but no fresh fruits, no pastries and juice me mostly empty. "Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)"

"Comfortable night’s stay in a standard family room, apart from the sofa bed which wasn’t comfortable our two grandchildren told us. Breakfast was fine."

"not a good sleep the first night due to a machine in the courtyard for freezing purposes. apparently the normal freezer had broken. however after we complained we were moved to another room which was a lot better in fact an upgrade on our previous room hopefully the university of cambridge will rectify this in the not to distant future. the staff were excellent"

"Check in was easy, room was okay for price , I asked to add some nice touches as it was my anniversary and I’d pay extra, they just left a note on the bed. Could not use the swimming pool as advertised on the booking as swimming lessons were being done. Staff didn’t tell me that even though they gave me towels and told me where the pool was."
