"Not having stated here before i was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the hotel. It was very fresh and clean andlooked well maintained. Reception was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely be returning here and cant recommend it highly enough!"

"The shower was hot with great pressure. The bed was comfortable. Everything very clean. The spa bath was amazing. Only a couple of things negative. There was nowhere to hang my dress. No hooks or hanging rail. The pillows were a bit lumpy so I suggest byo pillow. Also we couldnt sign into our netflix becauae it said the device was only compatible with premium and we don't have premium. So only had normal tv to watch. Everything else was great."

"The room was really clean and modern. Great Smart TV with all the Apps like Netflix, YouTube etc Had a good little fridge and a microwave (I was surprised how many didn’t) . Really big shower with great pressure, so I felt washed ! Close to the Taree Service Centre as in 5 min drive. Beautiful rural setting, so quiet. This place was a real gem really close to the M1. I found myself another great motel between Sydney and Brisbane, well worth the stop."

"The room was great, very spacious, staff were very friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was excellent (had lunch and breakfast twice). Easy parking. Walking trail nearby and excellent swimming at the beach opposite. "

"Rundown,rubbish everywhere, first room offered smelt. Pool empty and rundown. At reception greeted by shuffling, man clad in a food stained singlet advertised photos were 10 years out of date and gave us false impression. We had paid online, but found another motel $20 cheaper which was clean, spacious. It was worth having to pay twice. "

"This motel is slightly renovated and is cheap however it was very noisy especially early morning as trucks run behind the premises and the bed was like sleeping on concrete. Definitely only worth the cheap rate we paid wouldn’t stay there again even though location was close to shops "

I understand older style motels, but there's no excuse for the level of filth here, old can still be clean, and this absolutely wasn't. The room clearly hasn't had a proper clean in a long time. There was heavy build up of grime and dust around the base of the toilet, and the shower hadn't been cleaned at all, hair throughout the recess and visible grime in the grout. "Forster Palms was a great place to stay - easy parking, clean pool & surrounds. The room itself was well-laid out, and although a little dated, was very clean & had everything we needed for a short stay! The vouchers & temp membership to the Club next door were much appreciated, & the dining options at the Club were good too. Recommend for short stays! "

"This property was extremely disappointing from all aspects. The lack of maintenance was obvious from car park to rooms. I would not recommend anyone who expects, clean, comfortable accommodation to consider staying at this place. "
