"The whole the whole vibe of the resort. I loved the tropical gardens that framed the lake pool and restaurant area. It just added to a real sense of tranquility. The recreational amenities were fantastic for the children and big kids alike. I’d come back to stay at this resort again in the future."

"The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was sufficient. The evening meal was nice and the chef was fast. The only thing wrong was a very noisy exhaust fan in the bathroom but we were there on a weekend so probably no maintenance available. The did offer to change our room."

"The manager was more than accommodating assisting us to have a quiet room upstairs. Rooms are clean and tidy. Bed linen is high quality and comfortable beds. Love the addition of cereal included in the room We''ve been staying here a few times on our drive up and down QLD. Good safe place and ideal with kids with the pool and entertainment when eating in the beer garden"

"First up we were told after we paid that a $200 holding fee would be held for 28 days, if we had paid cash we could have got that back on check out. For the price I was shocked that the expectation was we had to wash up, although no sink just a bucket you could fill up in the shower to wash your dishes. We decided against that as we discovered an ant trail in the food prep shelf thing. There was also mould in the shower and the aircon was held together with duct tape. Upside location was...

"We loved our stay at La Promenade. Exactly as advertised, clean and well laid out with friendly staff. It is currently being renovated a few rooms at a time, but of no imposition to our stay. This will only make it a more attractive proposition in the future."

"Close to everything- a little road noise but nothing unusual - room super clean and staff amazing- only thing no power points beside bed for phone charge etc meant cord accross floor but this manageable"
