"Devonport House is a wonderful guest house in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Jenn and Jacques are great hosts and very helpful with tips for restaurants and sightseeing. "The accommodation is luxurious and beautiful. We certainly felt pampered and welcome. The special touches are numerous and the staff members are clearly trained to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. "A very quite relaxing place, breakfast is available but it was not the best (cold), this was a very different place, also a yoga retreat. interesting building and rooms. little areas to sit everywhere. lots of spiral staircases to get to places so not good if you have a bit of a funny knee like i have. 2 lovely dogs on the premises too, very friendly."

"Great hotel. Room was lovely - I had a corner suite with beautiful balcony and 180 view of Hout Bay. I think I got an upgrade. Love the staff, excellent location close to everything. Really cannot say enough about this hotel. Oh and Hout Bay area is amazing."

"I have stayed at Fernwood Manor for many years and the standards are always excellent. The staff are so helpful - nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast is legendary and always freshly cooked. The gardens are immaculate and the poll - devine. I cannot recommend it highly enough ! "
