"Parking lot in terrible condition. Felt safe. Coffee pot in room did not work."

"This is the definition of a "no frills" motel. I was there 3 nights as a business traveler. The rooms are bare bones. Not even shampoo, hairdryers, or kleenex. No mini fridge or microwave. The exterior doors to the complex were torn or damaged. My key card stopped working one time. And well, the cast of characters among other guests was, "interesting". But that's not the motel's fault. There was also a moderate smoke smell in the non-smoking room. The room itself was reasonably clean...

"A spotless, simple motel room. The bed was extremely comfortable. No frills, but more than adequate and well-priced for Yale’s graduation weekend. Great diner nearby (Sky Diner)."

"Staff immediately addressed a loud room per my call to the desk. Good. The rooms do not block noise very well. Bad Location is convenient for highway access and staff was helpful. Basic room for a basic price."

"Front lobby has been remodeled but that is all. Hotel is disgusting, dirty, mold, curtains are filthy and stained. Lamp shade was even filthy. I don’t think the floors have been vacuumed or moped in years. I wouldn’t eat breakfast from this hotel bc it’s so dirty. I instantly had allergy and asthma issues from the room."

"Everything was excellent—we had a great stay and would absolutely return. The only minor issue was that the mattresses felt a bit worn and slightly saggy and could use an update. There’s no on-site parking, but the parking garage is less than a 3-minute walk from the hotel, which was still very convenient."

"Completely surrounded by a boat yard. People were outside revving engines and playing music until at least 2am in the parking lot. Breakfast barely offered anything"

"Our room was noisy, police sirens every 5 minutes through the night combined with a broken air vent, the motor was making very loud screeching noises. We requested service and nothing was done about it. The area (Yale) is a true eye opening experience that was unexpected. We were approached by beggars for money to buy alcohol within 15 seconds of walking out of the hotel, the public transit (across the street) is dirty and trash on the street everywhere. Making a change in the community starts...

"Beautiful hotel, fantastic restaurant on site "Siena". Room was beautiful but TV did NOT work, kept tuning out and staff not able to fix. Would be great if they offered daily breakfast not just weekends. Lobby is lovely, staff is very attentive!"
