"Always a pleasure to stay here! The staff is accommodating, particularly Suzy & Mike. Breakfast selection is small but very good! Love the waffles!!"

"The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I liked that the sink was not in the same room as the toilet and shower so one could have more privacy. The shuttle to the airport came on time. There was a very nice Mexican restaurant across the street."

"The outside of the property was fine. Although the room was extremely clean. The furniture was run down it look like they got plenty of good use out of the future. Furniture, cabinets and more definitely needs to be replaced."

"It's a great hotel to stay at it you're headed to the airport. Clean and very close to the airport. Helpful staff and a nice breakfast included. The parking was great. Anytime you get covered parking with cameras in SF it's a good thing! Would recommend. We will likely stay again."

"Parking can get a little crowded but I guess it is a small hotel. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was hotel breakfast but they had a variety. Waffles were good."

"My stay was excellent. The room was comfortable and spacious. Quiet. Ample hot water, which arrived quickly. The person at the front desk was friendly and got me checked in expeditiously. The next time I need to stay at the San Francisco airport, I will definitely stay at the Gateway!"

"The flooring in room 161 water coming out so you need to wears shoes. I reported it to the front desk but they didn’t do anything."

"Very helpful, attentive, knowledgeable, and personable staff. Limited selections for continental breakfast, although everything was delicious. Could use more gym equipment as well, if you are into fitness. Nice and clean accommodations, just minor details here and there. Would recommend for a quick getaway, not necessarily a special occasion. Overall, I am satisfied with my stay and will likely return!"

"This hotel is incredibly dated, in a bad area, inconvenient for anything but the airport. Breakfast is very limited. Showers do not all work. Power failure issues. Rooms smell musty, moldy, and stale. Hard Pass unless you really really do not care about where you stay."

"Good room- clean and spacious. But ride to hotel was awful-- bus driver drove in a harrowing, jerky style and around in circles meaning it took forever to get to LA Quinta. And that was AFTER an extremely long wait outside (>45 mins) to get the ride in the 1st place! I should have known that "free shuttle" meant awfully long added travel! It took only 12 mins to get back by Uber"

"No heater at all. Asked the maintenance to fix it, didn’t worked. Changed room, didn’t worked. Asked them to try out the heater before we switched room, they didn’t tested it either."

"Infrequent airport shuttles at every 45 minutes. It should be every 15 minutes."

"The outside area, lobby area, elevator, hall, room and bathroom was clean. The front desk and the breakfast stuffs were friendly and polite. Breakfast was hot and tasty and coffee was fresh. Great breakfast experience. Breakfast area was clean. Plenty of parking. I love that I was able to park in the special veterans parking only spots. Overall, a great experience, will definitely stay again and recommended to friends and families."
