The management was unreachable and unwilling to help resolve a booking error. I stopped into the lobby and booked a reservation through Expedia with the help of the counter clerk working. I had to book two separate rooms. The second room was charged for a night two week out but at 11pm at night it was not noticed until the confirmation. I have on numerous occasions tried reaching out to cancel the room at the hotel but management is not willing to refund my money when the reservation date isn’t even until 11/25/25. I tried changing the room date the same night. had to pay again to stay that night on top of them unwilling to cancel the error of the night that was made by mistake, with the help of the hotel staff. I will never choose Microtel as a hotel for future hotel stays.
