This hotel has a nice looking exterior and lobby. Once you get past the lobby, the illusion is over. The hotel should have been remodeled 7 years ago. There is a sign in the elevator that says they are remodeling. I saw no signs of remodeling but saw lots of neglect. Directional signs literally held in place by tape in haphazard fashion. The carpet is a wavy tripping hazard. The room was very obviously not clean with gross looking substances on the light fixture and all of the furniture was worn out. I didn't use the shower, it looked grimey and disgusting. The entire 1st floor beyond the front desk smelled like moldy laundry. The guest floor smelled like feet. The bed was seriously uncomfortable and the pillows flat. This is a poorly managed 1 star motel and a scam as advertised. I would never stay here again and probably will never stay at another HGI. I want a refund.
