"It’s a small boutique hotel designed for young demographic but we enjoyed staying here and didn’t feel uncomfortable at all (we are in our 40’s). Funky styled and friendly staff and à la carte breakfast was excellent. The roof top bar was nice too."

"Studio rooms are somewhat compact; and noisy if you have someone in an adjacent apartment-type room incorrectly using their microwave at unsociable hours. Otherwise bed is comfortable, shower is good and housekeeping is very good "

"Great overall stay! Did find the bathroom sink far too small though and each time using it would need to mop up the water on the floor. Breakfast was excellent at the Venom Brewery. One suggestion would be to get a professional coffee machine. Found coffee to be sub par for Melbourne standards. Enjoyed tasting some great beers and loved the spicy wings. Will definitely stop in again next time in Melbourne."

"Zagame’s House has a good energy, and the staff are genuinely warm, helpful, and welcoming. I appreciated the comfort of the room, especially the large king bed, which made for a pleasant stay. That said, I think honesty matters. While the hotel is enjoyable and well run, I would not personally describe it as a true boutique hotel. "The check in was an unpleasant start to the stay. It took us an hour to get our garage key (wrong code provided), get into the room and then park the car in the stacker. This included two trips to the car to unload our luggage and several calls to the staff for help. The staff member was so patient. Unfortunately the phone connection (Telstra) kept dropping out in the garage and later in the apartment.
