"Arrived in Pisa at 11am and our room was available. Perfect location. 100m from the tower. Fabulous view of the leaning tower, from the rooftop. Spacious room. Queen size bed. Breakfast buffet - plenty of choice. Friendly staff. We would highly recommend this hotel to others. "

"Hotel is logistacally located by Leaning Tower of Pisa. Its clean and the room is spacious. No elevator but they carried our luggages up. Front desk very friendly and helpful. About a mile away from Pisa Centrale train station. Highly recommended."

"Avoid at all cost! The location of this hotel is excellent and impossible to fault. It is central, with a lovely position on the river, making it ideal for exploring the area. The included breakfast was also a positive, with a good variety of options to suit different tastes. Unfortunately, the negatives far outweighed the positives. There was almost no protection from outside noise, and the street noise was constant, especially early in the morning when the street cleaners started. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and clearly not fit for purpose. Every movement caused the frame to creak loudly, which was hardly surprising given it appeared to be made from plywood. As a result, we had an awful night’s sleep and decided to check out after just one night and stay somewhere else. There was also no proper hot water. We only discovered this the following morning when we turned on the shower, and the water was barely lukewarm. The bathroom itself was in very poor condition, with missing tiles, obvious poor-quality repairs, and a bathtub that looked discoloured and unclean. The staff were pleasant on arrival, but much less helpful when we raised these issues at check-out. They suggested we should have reported them sooner, but the problems only became apparent late at night and the following morning. Whilst I understand this is an old hotel that has a nice charm, the basic standards of comfort and cleanliness were not met!"

"Everything about the hotel was tip top apart from one thing. Before arrival, we weren't warned about renovation work being carried out, not even by email. We were informed of this on arrival. We stayed two night's, and after the first night, the works started happening at SEVEN AM. We chose to give the hotel staff the benefit of doubt. After the second night (when we were due to check out) I complained to a member of staff at the concierge who insisted on gas lighting me and states the contrary until her colleague arrived to confirm that I was right. I wish I took her name to complain to NH hotel for the ridicule. Her colleague and her struggled to find a way to remedy our dissatisfaction, I suggested cancelling the tourist tax, i.e. they pay for it which they wouldn't. We were offered free parking but we didn't drive for this particular holiday. All we got was complimentary mini bar usage, so we raided it on check out. It was a slight compensation for the initial discomfort in a broken sleep. Would I stay again: yes, the buffet was fantastic and location for the hotel were phenomenal. My wife and I were not impressed by the initial way we were dealt with by the rude lady in reception (who I can't report to NH). 7/10"

"The staff was friendly and helpful, spoke English which was a plus. Very helpful with Directions. The room was clean and had many options in the mini fridge to buy. The breakfast was superb! "
