"We stayed for 1 night at this gem of a place! We arrived quite late but managed to get into the restaurant just before they finished serving. The food was outstanding! Not an extensive menu. A few pub classics such as fish and chips. I had an open fish pie which was delicious. We had breakfast the next morning which was equally as good. We did say it was a shame we didnt live nearer as we'd definitely return for a meal. The rooms were recently modernised we were told and were lovely! A good...

"We decided to start our holiday early and stay at the Stansted Airport Lodge before our 7am flight the following morning. We didn't arrive at the hotel until about 10pm but were we greeted at reception by a friendly and helpful staff member and shown to our room. The room was basic but spacious and you could see the airport from one of the windows. We weren't there long as we left at 4:30am but we did have a few hours sleep in a comfortable bed. We would stay here again if we had an early flight...

"We had a wonderful stay here in this quirky building. Lots of nice touches like Free wifi, biscuits & refreshments. Wine & beer glasses in our room. Well equipped. Staff very friendly & helpful. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast to order. On site parking. Short walk to town. Would definitely stay again. "
