"Great stay. Perfectly located between the train station, shops and restaurants. They had complimentary breakfast included. The shower got really hot. We traveled with our two toddlers, had a triple room and we were all comfortable. Check out felt early but they held our bags for us while we waited for our train. Would stay there again."

"I love that they had breakfast at 4:30 in the morning, which made it great for setting out on an early tour. The staff were incredible. They stowed our luggage which was fantastic. The property was a bit loud as there were many dogs across the street barking all night. And it was a little too far away from the center of town for my liking. The hot water handle broke, but they did come up to fix it but the water pressure was extremely low"

"Room was very clean and also pretty upscale for South America. The shower has good pressure and temperature, though it takes a minute to heat up. Once it does, it's stable. Bed is comfortable and there are lots of outlets for devices as well as a table and chair. Very close to the bus station for Machu Picchu as well as the train station. The only downside to my room was that I don't have any visible windows. The other rooms do have though. Overall, I found it very private and comfortable."

"The interior of the hotel is very nice and our room was beautiful. The breakfast staff and front desk staff were awesome. The room was very cold and there are heaters but they just seem to barely warm the room. The desk staff provided an additional plug-in heater."

"This was incredible. If you are looking for a 5 star resort this may not be for you , but if you want a real authentic experience with an incredible view , I mean incredible. (This is saying a lot as I am from Alaska and have a high level of expectation for views ) the family that runs the base camp and restraint were so sweet this was one of the most memorable stays I’ve had in my life. Can’t wait to plan my trip back here! "

"We liked Gringo Bill’s overall. Here were the pros: The room had a beautiful patio area and we felt like a we were in a treehouse; completely surrounded by glass windows and doors. The included free breakfast was delicious and the cooks very friendly and quick to serve the hot items we ordered. The location was very close to the center of town, only a few minutes to multiple restaurants, cultural dance performances, the train station, souvenir shopping, and municipal buildings if you need...
