It’s in a great location right in the heart of Clun, making it easy to explore the village and enjoy the surrounding countryside. Everything was straightforward and well looked after, and the whole place had a friendly, welcoming feel. A great place to stay – would happily return."

"The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel, off the main street. The village had a few shops and a large town nearby. The hotel has a river at the bottom of the grounds which was lovely to sit near."

"Really lovely spot, stayed for one night before the races at Ludlow which is 15 minutes away. Had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant. Stayed in room 8 which has a 4 poster and a large bathroom. Staff were excellent. "

The rooms as usual are so clean and super comfy beds. The spa facilities are fantastic. Five stars again from us!! "

"We had a lovely relaxing weekend break. Such a beautiful and peaceful location. Chris and Tracey were very warm and welcoming. The cake was a nice surprise. We took our dog, and he really enjoyed himself. The rooms are all large so plenty of room for him to lie down, and we had the use of a field to walk him in. "

"Lovely room. Very clean and it was great having fresh milk in the fridge when we arrived. We ate and drank at the pub too and that had a great atmosphere. The location was great - great right in the middle of Ludlow. Only downside was that you could hear people sitting in the garden of the pub until 11pm. This wasn’t a problem for us but might be for some people "
