"I’m not even trying to be rude because the front desk staff were pleasant. That being said, this has got to be THE most disgusting hotel I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. The smell? indescribable."

"This hotel was beyond PERFECTION!! We had business in the DFW area for a week and I was worried for the comfortability of my extended stay but Candlewood was beyond my expectations. The room was generously spacious with a full functioning kitchen full of amenities for all my cooking needs with cups, dishes, even pots and pans! "The hotel room was large and the staff pleasant. The bed was comfortable. The room could have done with some upkeep- peeling wallpaper, chipped/cracked bathroom fixtures, way too much deodorized scent, etc."

"I requested twice for them to snake the shower drain and refresh the room. We were told 2 days in a row that everything would be taken care of, then they just shrugged us off when we asked why nothing was done. Breakfast was less than expected, but edible. The cleaning staff and breakfast servers were polite and professional. The A/C was ok we had to leave ours on high fan and at like 70 degrees."

"Pros: Very safe, quiet location with a variety of cool local restaurants (albeit in a mini-mall) that are less than 400 steps away. (Don't miss I Love Kolaches - I don't even LIKE kolaches but their innovative flavors made me a believer. Plus it's the closest place to get coffee). The staff - the women who work the desk are incredibly kind and friendly. Kudos to the younger Indian woman who helped me fasten a necklace for a work event as I was traveling alone and the woman with the short pink...
