"If you want to stay in a small characterful boutique hotel in a very pleasant area of Cheltenham then look no further. The hotel has a very welcoming feel and all members of staff we met were really helpful and pleasant. The hotel has a really lovely lounge area and if we were staying longer, I would have definitely used it as a quiet reading spot, likewise the small courtyard area adjacent to the restaurant. "The room we stayed in was just right size and comfy, with fast Wi-Fi and everything we need. The bathroom was okay, but the shower area only had a curtain to keep things in, which wasn’t the best. The breakfast was great, with lots of hot food to choose from, and you could even order from the kitchen. The cleaning could use a bit more work, though—there were visible stains on the toilet and heavy stains on the tea kettle."
