"Very happy overnight stay in a family room for a family of four. Very homely atmosphere, the hotel is an older building so a bit quirky but nothing to detract from being comfortable. Played table tennis and pool on the small & unbalanced table - all good fun for non-serious players. Food was good too."

"We stumbled upon this place by accident while looking for a pitstop, and what a find! We originally planned for one night but enjoyed it so much we extended our stay to two. "The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows so weak they really could have been nonexistent. The bathroom was nice and clean but the toilet had to be flushed a few times before it worked properly. The staff answered most of the questions we asked but offered nothing unless asked. Charlotte and Leann (servers at bar) need to find different work or take a course on customer service. It would have been nice to see a manager once in a three night stay. We never had dinner because it was just crazy...

"Firstly fantastic staff. Nothing too much trouble. Lovely well stocked bar area. Fabulous breakfast. Very clean. Free parking to the rear of the property. Central location. We stayed as we were attending a wedding so didn’t really explore much but what we saw was very nice. Bedrooms were basic but this was obviously reflected in the price.
