OMG never seen such an awfull appartment, so dirty, cold, no WIFI, no teresteral TV, living room window was closed but didnt feel like it. Took about 20 mins to get into appartment as lock is knackered. We tried to get in touch many times onse so we couldnt stay there. We continued to try to contact every day and Hotels.com did as well. They eventually did try to call us but I missed the call, they followed this up with an email to which I did reply to twice, but still nothing. This has been very stressfull as the reason we were there was to settle my Mum into a care home. We were hoping to cook there but obv couldn't. We want our money back at least. I can't fault hotels.com as they have gone above and beyond I hold Sykes Cottages wholly responsible. I am hoping with this will prompt them to get in touch. Please stay clear of this property I would hate for anyone else to experience this.
