Just wanted a night to visit family in the area. Website says parking which was not actually available. Note that after 3pm you can part on the sea front for 3 hours for free and is not restricted after 6pm so could leave overnight and get another 3 hours at 9am when starts again. Welcome was warm and friendly. Room was very small (Room 9) just bed and tiny bathroom. As on own having a really small room was not an issue as was clean. The big issue was no blind in room and no privacy and light waking me up early. Would not stay again.

Nostalgic seaside stay

My stay was good and the staff extremely accommodating. However, a storm front came through during my stay and being on the sea front. It was so loud in my room it felt like I was in a tent for most of the night. In the morning there where downed fences and significant storm debris on the beach. It may not seem a fair review as there's not much the owners can do about the weather but it significantly detracted from my stay and I left a night early due to the projected weather for the following night.

Took my partner for what was meant to be a relaxing night away. Paid 114 for a bridal suite but left about 10.30pm and went home stating i would appreciate a full refund as the noise was unbelievably loud leaving us unable to sleep. On checking in we were ahown to a room to be then told may not be the correct one. After taking our things back to the car we was called 30 mins later saying it was in fact the right room. A complete nightmare from start to finish...although staff were friendly!

The OYO Pier Hotel is a lovely little hotel right next to the sea front The staff we interacted with were very friendly, pleasant, helpful and professional, The room was amazing very high spec and uniquely individually name, very clean and well looked after the only down side for me is it was advertised as parking available, something I always look for, but in fact there is only parking for 2 cars so I doubt any guest really get to use them, so I had to park around the corner in a public car park at my expense, also I could not see my car from the hotel and was very nervous about leaving my car there - also it was advertised as hairdryers are supplied with each room, but there was not one, much to my Wife's dismay, plus the area is very noisy for most of the night as local night clubs do not turn out until after 2am, if these three things do not concern you then this is a lovely hotel and highly recommended, although for me I will not stay there again because of car parking.

Very small hotel, good location but overpriced for the amenities and overall condition of the property. Staff were friendly but room was not tidied during my stay, so I had to clean my own mug to reuse it the following day. Far too many stairs to negotiate for anyone with walking difficulties.
