"Good location close to amenities. Room better than pictures. Bed comfy and shower great."

"The hotel and its staff were excellent. However, there was a major soccer game the evening that we stayed, and we were not able to park on the property, but had to park a mile away. The hotel staff said that they reached out through Expedia to send us at least two separate messages talking about the soccer game and that we would not have parking. We received two emails from Expedia, but no messages were actually relayed to let us know about the parking situation. If the hotel is going to reach...

"Very nice clean room with kitchen which allowed us to store food and drinks; provided tea and coffee. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The 5:00 drinks were very nice before going to dinner. I would recommend this hotel. Also convenient to bus, tram."

"The room was clean but could have been cleaner and didn’t smell very fresh.You couldn’t open the windows so it was very hot and stuffy.The bar was closed on the 1st night which was a bit of a surprise. All in all it was ok but we wouldn’t book to stay there again."

"The location was fantastic, in New Town, but very close to the Royal Mile. Many wonderful restaurants nearby. The view to the Firth of Fourth was stunning. Highly recommended!"

"Place was gorgeous, modern, convenient, clean. Though listed as for 4 people, it was a bit awkward for 4 people: bathroom en suite to one room, so those on beds (pull-outs) in front room had to walk through the other room to the bathroom. And because light switches for bathroom are outside, anyone sleeping gets light in their eyes until the door is closed. And using the kitchenette was disturbing to those sleeping in front room. Would have liked a full size coffee maker as the nespresso...

"I went with the bunk bed room despite being a solo traveller and was apprehensive cause I just needed a single but the bottom bunk had a little lamp and curtain so at the end of the night it felt like I was being wrapped up in a little nest - bedding so good I didn’t like my bed at home when I went back 😂"

"Very nice room. Spacious and clean. The only unfortunate part was noise. Our room faced the street and the noise from late night revelers was a definite downside. We were awakened each night by loud partiers passing by. The weather was very warm during our stay and we were not able to keep the windows open due the noise. This may seem like a petty complaint but it certainly took away from the experience."

"The stand out was the service. Friendly staff and excellent service. Room service was speedy and if you had breakfast included there was no extra charge. We had an issue with our TV and someone was there within 2 mins. The amenities in the bathroom smelt gorgeous. Loved the variety in the mini bar. Good size mugs for a cuppa. Only down side was the water pressure in the shower."

"The building is nice. Area is noisy sometimes. I do think they need instruction for how to work washer and washcloths. Being from America, we use those to wash with and the place did not have them."
