"Wonderful, helpful person (Sylvia?) at the breakfast buffet made this meal comfortable for a couple of weary travelers. The front desk folks also were very helpful and answered all of our questions."

"Great historic property and central to everything in Placervile. Old building, so heat/cooling is tricky, and with hard wood floors, it was a little chilly but extra blankets provided. Squeeky floors, loud door and old windows with lots of street noise, but all to be expected. Well equipped and fun to stay at such an old hotel with so much history. "

"The room was awesome. The condition was ok. The couches are white as it is decorated the way it was in the olden days and they are a bit dirty. I understand that. I was not comfortable sitting on it but I loved the room. There was no coffee in the room so that was no bueno. "
