"The hotel is in a great location near the lake. The room was fine and had a balcony. The breakfast was good, as was dinner but you are advised to get there at 19.00 when it opens. The staff were mostly fine, it would have been nice to know about the extra costs for the sauna before getting to the wellness centre, the swimming pool was great though."

Here are the issues that we experienced: road noise, tobacco smoke rising from the restaurant, inadequate interior lighting, no hooks for towels, too few hooks for clothes, the sheets were not clearly clean. "This hotel is straight out of a magazine. The location on the lake was just perfect. Our view from the room was out of this world. We loved being able to easily walk to restaurants and town. They offered complimentary boat rentals to the island. This was also a highlight. We loved the history, location and the views. Everything was perfect. I would love to go back."

"Easy location and accessibility of the lake. Breakfast was delicious. Shower was amazing. The serve great cocktails and breakfast mimosas. My only complaint would be that on lake view rooms, you cannot really see the lake due to tree coverage, which felt a bit like false advertising. That said, if I was to go back to lake bled I would stay here and I would recommend the hotel to friends."
