"Our stay was enjoyable so much so that we extended it. I used the gym daily and the beach was clean and beautiful.
I had to bring to their attention that a sink was clogged. They addressed it quickly and placed a gift in our room for the inconvenience. However, I noticed debris under the bed and sink that after our room was cleaned remained. I did my own cleaning and was able to enjoy my room. I informed house keeping that the safe was locked and they did not take the time to radio maintenance for us and told us to address it with the front desk. We took our valuables with us during the stay
The breakfast was a buffet of American foods bagels etc. no Caribbean dishes were offered outside of Saltfish on Sundays. I personally look forward to authentic meals when I visit outside of the states but that was not offered.
The grounds were well maintained. The views are so beautiful. You can watch the sunset on the beach. The landscape was perfect. I was able to meditate in peace and enjoyed the ocean and the mountains.
I would stay again. It’s not a low priced hotel but a large grounds that requires funds to pay staff for the upkeep. It could use an upgrade, but there are a lot of antique pieces to admire.
