"We had a very pleasant and wonderful stay at Ryokan. The excellent service, especially the kaiseki-style breakfast and dinner, provided us with an unforgettable experience full of Japanese culture. The Japanese-style hot spring bath is nice to have. Also the surrounding areas are beautiful with the view of Mt Fuji. We do have two small suggestions: First, the strong tatami smell in the room might be improved with some light incense. Second, the large key for the room door was a bit inconvenient...

"We drove to Hoshinoya Fuji, as it was dark, the entry towards the check-in area is very easy to missed, suggest to have more road sign leading towards the resort. Once we checked in, there is a car to pick us up to our room up the mountain. The view of Fuji is stunning, if you are lucky enough to see it. Room and breakfast service are great, and so are the amenities in the resort. Booking for activities got to be done by 6pm the day before (no exception can be made). Was really interested in...
